Jetty is in itself and is determinative about who is standing on it. There can be either souls which are full of love either souls which want to get to the next life. The place where the present meets with the future - transition between worlds. Jetty symbolises the viewer's way of life, the way he interprets it. It shows the social range and lifestyle of person. The work combines reality with unknown by knowing only the fact that the road will finish at some point. The painting is made big so the viewer can 'come inside' in it. Very important is the level of feelings and that's why nothing specific is shown.

 

Shiny black colour is layered several times on mat black colour. Under the dark shades is a cataclysm where something is hidden.
