Kristaps Priede homeland's landscape of forest in autumn when the rainy slowly starts, the fog is coming and every day becomes more chill. Shortly before first day of the autumn's storm there is this moment when you know that everything will be dead. Between all the trees viewer actually can see that he is not alone there. Painting lights up the roof of house with two chimneys. That is what every Latvian is longing for. Nature and home is the soul of Latvian person. The painting is made with light freedom and minimal geometrication in some details.
