The main goal of this photo exhibition is to portray disabled people’s commitment, strength and visibility in society and urge people to stop for a moment and think “What does independent living mean to you?”

Independent Living allows everyone to live lives of equality in our societies. It allows disabled people to live lives as ordinary people. It has an impact on every person’s life and crosses all borders in Europe. We emphasise our strong fighting spirit to turn Independent Living into a reality for all.

With this project, we want to raise awareness in society about Independent Living and its importance for the lives of disabled people and at the same time on life with equality for disabled persons that could and should be lived within the different European countries.
